Desert plants

Does anyone know what these are?

I got them all at once from a friend.

They are very cool, but I've no idea what they are.

The top one, is a pinecone cactus, Genus - Tephrocactus.
Species - articulatus - could be the variety called inermis or the variety called diadematus.

They're native to South America, and can be very sensitive to overwatering.

The plant in the second pic looks like one of the Gymnocalciums... there's about 70 different kinds, and I can't figure it out at the moment. I'll get back to you if I do...

I can't tell the others from the pic. There's a couple that might be small ferocactus, but they might be echinopsis, sorry.
